Manchester City wants Ansu Fati, Pedri or De Jong in a Swap deal for Ferran Torres. The Premier League champions are willing to let Ferran Torres move to FC Barcelona during the winter transfer window. However, City won’t let him leave unless Barca involves one of their Youngsters in this deal. The English outfit wants any one of Ansu Fati, Pedri or De Jong for the outgoing Spanish Forward.

The 21-year-old Spaniard is on the news for trying to secure a move away from Etihad Stadium. FC Barcelona has appeared as the only club to sign Ferran Torres next year. Several reports have claimed that the forward is closing in on a move to the Catalan club in 2022. He joined Manchester City just a year ago and he must be frustrated with his latest Injury setbacks. Another reason for leaving City could be the lack of game time in a High-quality Citizens Squad.

According to the Daily Mirror, there are good relations between both Barcelona and Manchester City. Their strong ties could help accelerate any potential transfer for Torres, however, the Citizens are still reluctant to let the youngster leave. The Spaniard started for the City playing XI regularly during the Initial Phase of this season but he sustained an injury while playing for his National team. His injury has kept him out of action for 2 months now.

MANCHESTER CITY BOSS PEP GUARDIOLA HAS ACCEPTED FERRAN TORRES’ REQUEST TO JOIN FC BARCELONA

Manchester City is aware of Torres’s desire to move back to his homeland. According to reports, Pep Guardiola has agreed to let the Forward leave the club if an economic agreement can be reached. The city is only prepared to see him depart if they can acquire one of Barca’s star players in exchange. Frankie De Jong is of high regard for Pep Guardiola. Meanwhile, City is understood to have made a €90m (£75m) bid for the midfielder, Xavi has recently stated that the Dutchman is “not for sale”.

Fati and Pedri, meanwhile, are two more Barcelona talents that City have been monitoring for some time. However, both players have recently signed new long-term contracts which include €1bn (£850m) release clauses, making any potential arrival at the Etihad for either player more challenging.

Torres, who has over three years remaining on his contract with Man City. Has registered 20 goal contributions in 43 appearances across all competitions since arriving from Valencia in August 2020.
