Manchester United will be travelling to Bramall Lane to take on the Premier League bottom side Sheffield United on Thursday evening.
The Red Devils will be travelling with high spirits and will be hoping to maintain their away form. If United win the match, 2 records will be broken. They will become the 4th English top-tier team to win 10 away games in a row, and the 1st to score 2 or more goals in 10 consecutive away games in 60 years. The last being Tottenham Hotspur.
United was held to a dreary draw against Manchester City at Old Trafford last week. With the draw, United’s Home form has become one of the most catastrophic ones.
Well, for The Blades, the hunt for a win continues. They are in one of the worst starts of the season with only a point in 12 games.
Chris Wilder’s team may be an easy one for the Red Devils. But their craving to break the winless drought may find troublesome for the visitors.
Last time these two teams met, United won 3-0, thanks to Anthony Martial’s maiden Hat-trick.
MANCHESTER UNITED’S PREDICTED LINE-UP VS SHEFFIELD UNITED:
Predicting a line-up for United is a tough job. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rotates the squad very often. Every week we keep seeing a new team, except for the defence. Having said so, we can expect a squad rotation again as they are playing a bottom table team.
There are no worries for United in case of injuries. Every player is up for their call.
The only doubtful one though is Edinson Cavani. He was injured a week before and also missed the Derby. It is not sure if he is completely fit or not.
The defence will most probably remain the same with Harry Maguire leading the team. Alex Telles may be given the nod ahead of Luke Shaw as the opponent doesn’t look tough.
Paul Pogba might start given his resurrected form after his agent gave various remarks, alongside Fred.
This is the best time to give Donny Van De Beek proper playtime, although without Bruno Fernandes the team has struggled. But it is a risk worth taking.
Martial’s return to fitness means Mason Greenwood will be returning to the bench and provide a late boost for the team if needed.
LOOK OUT FOR MANCHESTER UNITED:
Bruno Fernandes has been the only person to look out for in this team. The team is spineless without him. If he is to start then he is definitely the one to look out for. If not, Van De Beek has the perfect stage to show his worth.
