Manchester United may sign Liam Delap

Manchester United are looking forward to signing Liam Delap in the next summer transfer window.

The Reds striker problems:

Manchester United have been struggling way too much recently. Whenever, they are winning matches, they are winning them somehow. Their strikers are absolutely horrendous as well. Rasmus and Zirkzee have been both scoring little to no goals at all. Forget about playing good when it is needed. They are not even playing good when it is not needed either. Antony in fact is having a better time out side of Manchester United. He already scored 2 goals in 3 matches and he also won 2 man of the matches as well.

Manchester United may sign Liam Delap:

Manchester United are trying to sign Viktor Gyokeres at the moment. He is their priority striker for the summer transfer window as well. However, he is not really going to join Manchester United according to reports. He will join a team who will play in the UEFA Champions League for next season. Manchester United are looking forward to signing Liam Delap this is why. He is a really great player. Ipswich are struggling in the Premier League. However, the player has scored 9 goals in three matches as well. Ipswich is said to ask for a good amount of money for Liam Delap as well. Manchester City also have a buy back clause of  £40 million for Liam Delap as well. Manchester United’s main competitor will be Chelsea if they want to sign Liam Delap.

Author’s Opinion:

I definitely do not think Manchester United should spend so much money on Liam Delap. The Reds are not that good financially at the moment either. They should save more money and buy a high profile striker instead. They should try using the all or nothing strategy used by Real Madrid. It will be far better for them to invest in a really good high profile striker and spend big money on him instead.
