Manchester United to Move on From Dayot Upamecano?


According to The Athletic, Manchester United have cool interests to sign the 22-year-old Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig.

Dayot Upamecano has recently signed a new contract with a release clause of €38 million that activates in summer. Regardless, RB Leipzig would not prefer to let go off their top player who has helped them reach the third spot in Bundesliga.

Upamecano has attracted many big clubs. The French national team has bowed to his abilities and is certainly sure that he would be the main man for them in the future. Many reports popping that Bayern Munich are highly interested and leading the race to sign him.

United have been struggling this season. They have conceded 17 goals from their first 11 matches of the English Premier League. Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof partnership don’t seem to work for the Red Devils.

Axel Tuanzebe and Eric Bailly have been impressive but tend to suffer injuries often. With goals tending to breach United’s side, settling for a decision to not opt for Dayot Upamecano looks to pave way for regret in the future.
