Manchester United planning to sign Bellingham and Haaland next summer

Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a move for Borussia Dortmund duo Erling Braut Haaland and Jude Bellingham next summer, as per the report in Independent

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer tried to sign the two youngsters previously before both the players decided to join Dortmund. Since joining the Bundesliga giants, Haaland and Bellingham have showcased their talent for BVB and established themselves as integral parts of Marco Rose’s system.

According to the report, Manchester United are preparing to sign Dortmund duo Haaland and Bellingham for the next campaign. The Englishman previously had a tour in Carrington training centre, however, in the end, decided to join the German giants.

Haaland has a release clause of €75 million in his contract which will get activated from the next summer. And United’s Norwegian manager is still hoping to sign his fellow countryman, despite signing Cristiano Ronaldo in this summer transfer window.

Can Manchester United sign Haaland and Bellingham next summer?

Signing Haaland and Bellingham will be a great business for Manchester United next summer. However, these two will not come for cheap as Dortmund will ask a huge transfer fee for the Englishman and the Norwegian will also be very expensive for the Red Devils, including agent fees and player’s salary.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils are lacking a specialist defensive midfielder in their squad for quite a while. Bellingham could play in the midfield pivot but he is not a defensive midfielder. So, it will be interesting to see what the Manchester United boss decides to do next season.

After a disappointing loss to Young Boys in the Champions League, Manchester United will have to shift their focus for Sunday’s Premier League game against West Ham United. The Red Devils are currently sitting at the top of the league table with 10 points and Solskjaer will be looking to solidify that spot with a win against the Hammers.
