Manchester United and Manchester City tried their level best to score the goal however they both failed to do so in the same way. It was probably the most boring match I have ever seen in my life. This is probably the worst Manchester Derby I ever saw too.
Manchester United Post Match Analysis vs Manchester City:
Manchester United were playing really great. In fact the Reds were actually the better team in this derby as well. Garnacho had a really great opportunity to score the goal. However, he failed to do so. Someone really has to tell him that he is not young Cristiano Ronaldo. Just because he scored that one bicycle Kick goal, he has been very overhyped by the fans. He has a lot of potential and plays great sometimes and there is no doubt about it. However, he is not consistent at all. Most of the times he is horrendous for the Reds and cost them goals too by missing a lot of opportunities.
In the first few minutes, Manchester United had a really great chance. Diogo Dalot made a really great cross towards the Manchester City Penalty area. That is where Garnacho had a great opportunity to score a goal. He was not able to head the ball properly. He was not even able to shoot the ball. In fact, he did nothing.
Joshua Zirkzee took a really great shot towards Ederson with his left foot. However, it was saved.
Author’s Opinion:
I think Manchester United could have won the match easily. However, this does not work if they keep missing these opportunities in a big match like this. Garnacho should have scored the goal.
