However, Mathys Tel missed several chances as well. He performed really great otherwise. Tottenham could not take their chances. Maddison scored one goal for Tottenham. Tottenham won by 1 goal against Manchester United.
Author’s Opinion:
I think Manchester United deserved this loss. They did not perform well at all. I blame Ruben Amorim a bit as well for this match. He did not really make many changes to the team. He should have at least made a few changes in the second half as well. I feel bad for Ruben Amorim and not the players. They did not try at all. They just kept walking on the field and did not even try to take the ball from the Tottenham players. Their possession was 70% and Manchester United possession were 30%.
