Pochettino Wants Harry Kane and Dele Alli at His Next Club

Mauricio Pochettino is hoping to have a reunion with his former players, Harry Kane and Dele Alli wherever he will be managing next, according to Luigi Guelpa.

The Argentinian had a fruitful 5 and a half years at Tottenham Hotspur, where he brought-up the club from a mid-table team to a title-contending one.

Harry Kane will forever be indebted to Pochettino. Before his arrival, Kane was always out on loan spells. Since his promotion to the senior team in 2009, aged 16, he has been loaned out to 4 English clubs.

After Pochettino took over in 2014, Kane was given his chance to impress. Kane scored an impressive 31 goals and was the 2nd highest Premier League goal scorer that season. The next two seasons saw him become the top scorer.

Dele Alli joined the club in 2015, from a third-tier team and got his breakthrough for his club against Manchester United in the 2015-16 season. He has been impressive since and has been an integral part of Pochettino’s plans.

Pochettino’ next reunion with Kane will happen at Manchester United?

The 48-year-old has been out of work since he was sacked last November by Tottenham. It has now been one year and he has stated that he is ready for a new challenge.

With Manchester United crashing out of the Champions League, it was expected that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be sacked. But Ed Woodward has denied it and believes United are heading in the right direction with Solskjaer in charge. We’ll have to see if his statement stands if United loses Manchester Derby.

Pochettino was heavily linked to Real Madrid as well. When Madrid was on the verge of being knocked out of the Champions League, there were rumours of Zidane being sacked. But he is safe, for the time being.

Dele Alli has lost Jose Mourinho’s faith and has barely started this season. Jose insists that he will be given his chance, but an exit can also be expected.

However, an exit for Harry Kane seems impossible at the moment or in the near future. He is in a record-breaking form having 18 goal involvements in just 10 games. But, a lucrative offer made, won’t be denied considering the current financial issues.

Tottenham Hotspur are leading the Premier League table this season. Losing both Kane and Alli, with dramatic Pochettino reunion seems unlikely.
