PSG signed the Argentine on a 4-year contract till 2024. He has had a contract at Paris Saint-Germain until 2024 since last summer. The striker was initially on loan at PSG in early summer 2019 from Inter Milan. The club chose to take up his option to buy a year later in the early summer of 2020. After a first very good season on loan, the final purchase of the Italian was obvious.
Icardi was bought for €50 million by PSG, but the striker has difficulty satisfying the coach Mauricio Pochettino.
