Real Madrid’ versatile winger Lucas Vazquez could go to AC Milan in the upcoming summer transfer window if the winger and the Spanish giants failed to reach a contract renewal.

Vazquez is currently sidelined for a cruciate ligament knee injury until the end of the season. The 29-year-old winger has made 33 appearances for Los Blancos this season. And managed to contribute with two goals and seven assists in all competitions.

The Real Madrid graduate has served as a winger as well as a right-back for Zinedine Zidane’s side in the absence of Dani Carvajal. The Vazquez’ current contract with the Spanish giants will finish at the end of this season.

If the Real Madrid winger decides to leave the club at the end of this season. Then, it is almost certain that he will end up at Milan in the next season.

Real Madrid winger Vazquez to leave the club and go to Milan?

According to reports, the Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez has said no to the offer of city rival Atletico Madrid. Vazquez being a boyhood Los Blancos fan, it was hard for that move to materialize.

The Spanish winger is tempted by the idea of moving to Italy. And taking a new challenge with the Serie A giants. However, Los Blancos are leading the race to keep him at the club and they offered a much-improved contract from €3.5 million net per season to €5 million.

“Lucas Vazquez would like to renew with Real Madrid, he will wait for Real until the last moment. We do not know if the offer we are talking about is concrete or not, but certainly the only proposal that interests the player is that of Milan.” – Spanish Reporter Juan Jimenez.

It will be interesting to see what will happen with the La Liga giant’s winger Lucas Vazquez . Will he sign a new contract with Real Madrid or leave his boyhood club and go to Milan?
