Militao Silva’s replacement at Chelsea

According to several reports, Chelsea is said to be pursuing Militao as a replacement for Thiago Silva. With Tuchel also said to be wanting the star.

The report also says Chelsea would pay 60 million Euros to Real for Militao deal. With Rudiger also said to depart soon it may be a good deal for both parties involved. Thiago Silva and Rudiger both have been an important part of the Chelsea squad. They played their roles in Champions league triumph for Blues.

However, with Rudiger’s contract said to end soon, Chelsea are on the hunt for a replacement. As a matter of fact, Silva recently said

“I believe that from now, with the exit of Sergio Ramos, he is going to be one of the pillars of Real Madrid,”

Zidane was hesitant to play Militao during his spell at Real. But with the legend gone, Militao showed his quality against the likes of Barcelona and Liverpool. The former defender from Porto has become one of the key players for Real after Ramos and Varane departing the club.

Militao has also become a key player for his national side. The coach Tite has also appreciated the quality that the player possesses. With him starting alongside PSG defender Marquinhos, all of it becomes self-explanatory.

The defender played 1730 minutes, scoring 2 and providing 1 assist last season. His stats for the club becomes even more impressive as he committed only one foul per game. He even made 703 passes for the Los Blancos. With the country, he has completed 3rd most passes, finishing just behind Fred and Marquinhos.

Silva the fellow Brazilian, also has become one of the main reasons after Tuchel for the pursuit of Militao. Silva is said to be very excited about the prospect of seeing Militao in Chelsea. Nevertheless, it will be very difficult for the Blues to complete the transfer.
