Minerva academy contributes to the fight with Covid-19

Minerva Academy announced free vaccination for all its staff. However, The club has already vaccinated 75 employees during the first phase. During the Mega vaccination drive by the Central government, all the 100 residential athletes will also get vaccinated.

Minerva’s 100 employees as well as head Mr. Ranjit Bajaj donate blood twice.

Since the lockdown, they have followed all the rules and regulations to fight this virus. Strict rules like social distancing, no handshake or touching, etc. are being followed inside the campus.

Minerva’s contribution during lockdown 

The club donated a total of 5 Lakh Rupees to fight corona. 2 Lakh Rupees to the PM Cares fund, 1 Lakh rupees to the Government of Punjab under the Punjab Chief Minister Relief Fund – COVID-19 scheme, 1 Lakh rupees to the Government of Haryana under Haryana Corona Relief Fund, and 1 Lakh Rupees to Administration of Chandigarh under COVID-19 Relief Fund of UT Chandigarh. 

To promote and contribute to children’s physical development and well-being through sports, Minerva Academy donated sports equipment. The club also distributed nutritious meals, sports equipment, footballs, football kits, and trophies to an NGO named Education First Society.

The club donated 50 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh. In doing so, the football club showed that their helping hand to people goes beyond sports, and they also stand in solidarity with all the frontline workers who courageously continue to serve us during this difficult time.

Minerva Academy also took care of stray animals and fed over 250 stray dogs in Chandigarh during the lockdown. They also opened the doors of PAWs (Minerva’s Dog sanctuary) for the stray dogs. They also opened doors of PAWs (Minerva’s Dog sanctuary) for the stray dogs.
