Ghanaian striker Philip Adjah signs for Mohammedan SC


Ghanaian striker Philip Adjah Tettey-Narh signs for Mohammedan SC ahead of the upcoming season of the I-League. This will be his second stint with the club.

Adjah started his professional football career in India with Mohammedan SC in 2018. He played 30 matches for the club and found the net a total 31 times during his first stint with the BlackPanthers.

“It feels great to be back at the club where I made some amazing memories. The atmosphere at this club is amazing and everybody is professional in their approach. We have some top players in the squad and it should be a great experience once again. It’s going to be a challenging season but I’m looking forward to it,”

The 22-year-old forward was a part of the Calcutta Customs side in 2019 where he scored four goals in six matches. Later in 2019, he joined NEROCA FC for the 2019/20 I-League and played scored nine goals in nine matches for the club.

Adjah recently played for Bhawanipore FC in the I-League qualifiers and scored two goals for the club but unfortunately, they fell one point short and failed to qualify for the upcoming edition of the I-League.

Mohammedan SC will be happy to once again get the services of the experienced striker. He is expected to play a key role in the sides league campaign.

The General Secretary of Mohammedan SC Mr. Wasim Akram stated there is new confidence in attack due to signing of Adjah.
