Alvaro Morata helped Atletico Madrid through a potentially tricky Copa del Rey match against Levante. He scored the opening goal of their 2-0 victory. Meanwhile, he also welcomed his new teammate at the club.

Simeone’s choice of how to use Memphis will be highly intriguing. Simeone might be reluctant to start two forwards and Antoine Griezmann in his Memphis team. Because Memphis traditionally runs best with a natural striker, in this case, Morata. It is rare for him to do so when Joao Felix is in the team. Even though Memphis and the Portuguese have different roles in the team.
