Former Bayern man, Niklas Sule did a reverse on the German champions by joining arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window. The German international surprisingly joined the Yellow Wall as doubts were raised about whether Dortmund could sign a player of his caliber.
In a recent interview, the big CB revealed that it was the connection he felt with the club that made him sign with them.
” When I talked to them, I felt a real connection to the ambitions they had and what they want to achieve.”
He further reinstated that the goals of the club also matched his personal goals. The 27-year-old is in his prime and can lead the defence of Borussia Dortmund for years to come with the experience he has got.

Niklas Sule also mentioned how he wants the fans to be connected to him and that he has come to this historic club to defend its colors.
“People will see that I am here for the club’s colours and they will enjoy coming to games, watching me, thinking of me as a good signing for the club. “
The new signing also gave his thoughts on Dortmund’s transfer window, labeling Adeyemi, Schlottrrbeck, and Haller as ‘great signings’ that will enhance their chances of winning titles this season.
Although, only time will tell how Sule fares at Dortmund given his injury record. The expectations are high. Let’s hope the performances will also be.
