Nkunku and two others considering their future at Chelsea

Christopher Nkunku and two other Chelsea superstars are considering their future at West London. The trio is concerned about their lack of gametime this season under new boss Enzo Maresca.

Enzo Maresca has had a very good start to his Chelsea career. He has helped the Blues to secure the 4th place in Premier League after the first 10 games. The Italian is not shy to take bold decisions and it is surely paying off for Chelsea.

Maresca has given all the rights to pick the best starting eleven. He is doing a decent job considering the squad depth Chelsea currently have. The Italian has some players who is fully trusts whereas some are still to make a mark under him. Three of such players are considering their future at West London.

Will Christopher Nkunku leave Chelsea?

As of now, it does not seem like Nkunku leaving Chelsea in january. He has been used as striker by Maresca this season due to heavy competitions in winger position. The French star has also replied positively having scored 8 goals in 15 matches.

But, Nkunku is too good to sit on bench and he is concerned about his role under Maresca as per TBR Football. He has only started 1 game in Premier League and is not the first choice player. This may force him to take an exit route in the summer where he can get regular gametime. PSG for who he used to play earlier were interested to sign him earlier.

Who are the remaining two superstars?

Benoit Badiashile and Enzo Fernandez are the rest two players who can also leave Stamford Bridge in near future. Badiashile was said to be sold by Chelsea in january but the club have banished the rumours.

The Blues have said that he is a important player but the French defender is yet to start in Premier League this season. In addition, he has only played 37 minutes in the league. He too may look for an exit door if he continues to receive less gametime.

Lastly, Enzo Fernandez has lost his place as a regular starter. Maresca has started using Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo in the midfield and he is getting good results. Just like the two players mentioned above, Fernandez is too good to sit on the bench.

Fernandez is currently looked upon by Real Madrid. Recently he was also linked with FC Barcelona and Inter Milan. The Blues have spent £107 million on him and hence will try to recover as much as possible of it.
