Nongdamba Naorem signs for FC Goa as a free transfer. The new addition will add a boost to the attack of the Goa side. Naorem’s medical the last step before the announcement seems to be done.
Naorem is from Manipur’s town Wabagai. Naorem began his football career at the Minerva Punjab Academy where he became an attraction after producing consecutive brilliant performances representing the U-17 team of India which participated in the FIFA U-17 World Cup of 2017 held in India.
As a result, the Indian Arrows team signs him for the I-League before he receives a contract from Kerala Blasters. he did not get to play a long time in the I league. Naorem’s transfer from Kerala Blasters to FC Goa is occurring after he spends two seasons with Kerala Blasters. However, in the first season, Kerala Blasters decide to loan Naorem to Mohun Bagan. He plays his part efficiently and helps the Mariners to lift the 2020 I-League title. Also playing beside his pal Gaur Alexander Romario Jesuraj. In the seventh edition of the Indian Super League. Naorem did provide brilliant performances but a potentially good season for him was destroyed after suffering a terrible injury. He will be wearing the FC Goa jersey with the number 17 on his back.
