NorthEast United FC triumphed 2-0 over SC East Bengal at the Fatorda Stadium on Friday. This was their second win of this edition of the Indian Super League. Meanwhile, SC East Bengal continued their horrific campaign with another defeat.

The Red and Gold Brigade are yet to register a win this season and have lost 4 out of their 7 games. Their poor run of form continues much to their disappoinment. PLAYER OF THE MATCH

Khassa Camara edged Suhair to win the Hero of the Match award after an impressive and dominating performance in midfield. The stand-in captain led the team from the front and was bossed play. He completed the most number of passes on the pitch with an accuracy of 90%.

Registering 7 duels won and 18 recoveries, he halted any threat from SC East Bengal. Camara covered a lot of distance and put in a great shift in the middle of the park to hand his team their 2nd win of the season.
