Camavinga

Indian Super League outfit Odisha FC are on a mission to bounce back in the upcoming season of ISL. They have made their intentions clear on the signing of 32-year-old Spanish winger Aridai Cabrera.

After their horrendous performance last season, and finishing at the bottom of the table. They are going to follow a new plan which will make them as tough as other teams in the League.

And the current Las Palmas forward is on their list. Aridai is currently playing for UD Las Palmas which is in the second division of the Spanish League. Bt, according to Marca he will join Odisha FC sooner or later.

Cabrera to join Odisha FC

Aridai Cabrera the man with experience to help out Odisha:

Cabrera is incredibly experienced when it comes to football, he has played for more than 400 matches in Spanish football. If Cabrera is included in Odisha’s team, then they will definitely have the upper hand in their experience department.

Aridai’s Exit from UD Las Palmas enters the final stretch. The player (Aridai Cabrera) is very close to terminating with his current club and is been targeted to India, specifically to Odisha FC”, as reported by Radio Marca GC.

Cabrera’s huge Spanish career:

He started his career with Universidad Las Palmas which is his hometown club. He played for 3 consecutive seasons there in the 3rd division of Spanish football. After that, he went to RCD Mallorca in 2010 where he played for their B side.

In 2012 he again made a change and went on to play for Girona FC of division two. Aridai then moved to Real Betis in January 2013 where he was a part of the reserves. But then he moved to CE L’Hospitalet where he scored 10 goals for them, and then he moved to second-tier Sadabell.

Then in 2015, he joined Valencia CF of the 3rd division but unfortunately, he had to leave them immediately because the team got expelled due to financial problems. Because of which he joined Valencia CF Mestalla, a team that was in the same league.

In 2017 he had his best run for Deportiva Leonesa, for them he scored 15 goals in that season. Then shortly after that, he moved to RCD Mallorca which played in the third tier. The team made two consecutive promotions and Aridai finally made his debut in the Laliga where he played his first match against Depotivo Alaves. The match ended in a 2-0 loss for them.

Aridai then returned to his native city in 2020 and signed a two-year deal with them. Now, if we believe the rumours, then he is again ready to make his next move to India, where he will for Odisha FC.
