Oliver Kahn rules out potential Cristiano move and responds to probable Harry Kane move

Oliver Kahn, Bayern’s club legend and CEO recently enlightened about the rumors circulating around Cristiano Ronaldo and Bayern Munich. He ruled out the possibility of the club signing Ronaldo for free next transfer window.

Ronaldo is looking for a new club after his shocking interview on shabbing Manchester United. But Bayern is not interested in signing the 5 times Ballon D’or winner for free. When Oliver Kahn was asked whether they would like to sign Ronaldo, he simply said:

“I can rule out a move for Ronaldo. We’ve considered it, we all love Ronaldo but strategy is different. We have a clear idea, philosophy of how our squad should be put together,”

Kahn told Sky Sports.

Even though Kahn has previously claimed Ronaldo as one of the greatest, he didn’t think Ronaldo will fit with the club’s philosophy. After losing Lewandowski last summer, Bayern has signed in Sadio Mane and Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting. They are creating goals and assisting along with the likes of Sane and Musiala.

Oliver Kahn’s interest in Harry Kane

Bayern will still like to strengthen their frontline next summer and Harry Kane might be the one on their radar. Kahn didn’t hide his admiration for Kane and is entertaining the rumors surrounding Kane and his potential transfer to Bayern. Kane has scored 12 goals in 15 appearances in the Premier League. Bayern are even willing to pay 100 million euros for the striker who has a contract with Tottenham until 2024.

Bayern will love to sign some forward next summer and Harry Kane might be the one to play for them next year. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo should look for a new club where he could go in order to play in the Champions League next season.
