Paris Saint-Germain and Achraf Hakimi reach an agreement

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Negotiations between Paris Saint-Germain and Achraf Hakimi have progressed very well in recent weeks. After failing to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League, PSG does not want to experience this kind of disappointment. For this reason, Qatar has decided on a budget of €200 million for Pochettino to use to make signings to make the squad stronger. The emir wants PSG to win the UCL in 2022.

Paris Saint-Germain has been clear about its priorities for this summer. It is essential for the former Ligue1 Champions to recruit a right-back since Alessandro Florenzi was not kept. He was loaned in from Roma for just 1 season with PSG opting to not make the deal permanent. Having failed to satisfy the club’s leaders, he will return to AS Roma for the next season.

In addition, Colin Dagba and Thilo Kehrer do not give satisfaction to Leonardo either. For this reason, finding a player capable of imposing himself durably in the defense of PSG is a primary mission. They are thinking about signing up Hakimi. His name has come back with insistence in the last weeks when PSG was talking about the summer Mercato.

PSG is apparently confident and certain that Achraf Hakimi will play in their team next season. In addition, an agreement in principle has been reached between the club and him. The player was bought by Inter Milan for a fee of €45 million last summer from Real Madrid.

Inter Milan impose their conditions for a transfer of Acharf Hakimi to Paris Saint-Germain :

For the transfer to happen, Inter Milan has very specific conditions. The transfer price would be around €50 million excluding bonuses. In addition, the contract should last until June 2026 at least. Finally, the Moroccan fullback is expected to earn an annual salary of €8 million with €12 million in additional bonuses. Negotiations have progressed so well that Hakimi could be the PSG’s first transfer this summer.

If he does not join PSG this summer, a transfer is almost compulsory for him anyway. Inter Milan must absolutely succeed in selling the player because of large debts. The file is moving forward and PSG can hope to close a very nice deal with Hakimi, who has established himself among the best players in his position.

If the arrival of Hakimi were to be confirmed in the next few days, PSG would gain credibility. This transfer could bring Kylian Mbappé closer to his extension with PSG.
