Pavel Nedved wants Antonio Conte to replace Massimiliano Allegri

Antonio Conte

Juventus has started the season poorly and have been criticized for their performances by experts and fans. Massimiliano Allegri is under immense pressure and many believe the time is up for the Italian at the Bianconeri. The club Vice President, Pavel Nedved wants Antonio Conte to join the club as a replacement for the incumbent manager.

Antonio Conte is currently the manager of Tottenham Hotspur and the Italian is under contract till 2023. However, the Italian is yet to commit long-term future to the London club. Pavel Nedved feels that the manager can be lured to Turin as a replacement for Massimiliano Allegri.

The Spurs boss was the manager to start the Juventus domination in Italy back in 2011. The Italian won three Serie A titles consecutively before departing the club. Ironically, Massimiliano Allegri was the man to replace Antonio Conte at Juventus after his successful spell.

Antonio Conte does not share the same relationship with Juventus anymore

The Spurs boss had left Turin unexpectedly as one fine day in July, Conte suddenly announced his resignation. Reports suggested that the manager had a falling out with the board of Juventus. However, no such statements were made by the club and Antonio Conte.

Considering the history between the club and the Manager, it will be difficult to convince him to rejoin the Old Lady. However, the Vice President is hopeful of convincing the former manager. Zinedine Zidane was linked with the club last summer before Massimiliano Allegri resigned.

The French legend can be the perfect manager for Juventus as he has experience in dealing with pressure. The former Juventus midfielder has dealt with high-pressure situations at Real Madrid and is also popular amongst fans. However, Zidane seems to be focused on landing the French National team job after Deschamps leaves.

Didier Deschamps is another option for Juventus as the current France Manager looks likely to resign after the FIFA World Cup later this year. The French manager is also considered as a world-class manager and can turn the team around. Similar to Zinedine Zidane, Deschamps has a history with Juventus and is a popular figure at the club. Hopefully, Massimiliano Allegri can manage the club to some glory this season to buy the board enough time to look for a new head coach for next season!!
