About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo rules out any talks about the departure of the star Argentine forward Paulo Dybala in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The future of Dybala is the subject of much speculation. As his contract with the Bianconeri will end in June 2022. And the club is looking to sell players to raise the transfer budget. As the 27-year-old Argentine forward is having an atrocious season with the Old Lady of Turin.

The Premier League clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal showed their interest in Dybala. However, Pirlo expressed that he wants Dybala to stay at the club and sign a contract extension.

Juventus have suffered a heavy loss during the pandemic and it was believed that they are looking to sell few underperforming star players. Dybala was believed one of them as he will be the biggest asset to bring money back to the club to cope with the loss.

Will Dybala extend the contract extension with Juventus?

Dybala has endured a frustrating season with injuries, registering three goals and two assists in 13 Serie A appearances, however, he was fit enough for a 22-minute cameo from the bench in Sunday’s 3-1 win over Genoa. And his great goal against Napoli was great to watch.

“He still has a year left on his contract, so we will have him here next season. Dybala is a player who makes the difference. I do hope to be able to use Cristiano Ronaldo, Alvaro Morata and Dybala together at some point.” – Andrea Pirlo on Dybala’ future at Juventus.

Now, it is on the Juventus board to take the final decision on Dybala. Will they decide to sell the star to raise the funds or keep him at the club? Pirlo wants Dybala to stay at Juventus and Dybala also wants to remain at Turin and play for Bianconeri.
