Tottenham made nine changes in the starting 11. They started with a 4-2-3-1 formation. Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld were included on the bench.
Hugo Lloris also returned to the lineup. However, Gareth Bale was available only as a substitute.
Arsenal made eleven changes in the starting 11 after the match against Rapid Wien. They played in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Willian came back in the starting lineup. New signing Thomas Partey was excited about a North London derby experience.

Spurs had goals from counter-attacks whereas Arsenal had the most possession. However, Son Heung-Min broke the deadlock with a long-range effort as early as the 13th minute.
Harry Kane scored the second goal in the first add-on minute for the first half. Although the Kane-Son duo were simply fantastic.
For the Gunners, Hector Bellerin and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were looking dangerous. However, most of their brilliant attacks were forced into the counterattack by Spurs.
Bukayo Saka had a wonderful set-piece blocked by Hugo Lloris and Alexandre Lacazette couldn’t find the target past him.

Heung-Min Son (7/10) – The South Korean international has been in his best form and his goal was amazing! He along with Kane had been a formidable duo scoring 31 goals across all competitions. They are just 5 goals shy of the record held by the duo of Frank Lampard-Didier Drogba (36 goals).
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (9/10) MOM- He kept Lacazette at bay and not allowing to create chances. He even tested Leno with a well-taken shot. As a result, he has really been a “bully” for the opponents
