Premier League clubs fall behind in pursuit of Jamal Musiala

There have been a lot of talks regarding the future of Jamal Musiala. The Bayen Munich superstar has been constantly linked with some of the greatest clubs in Europe. Some of the top English clubs are looking to achieve his signature. But the Premier League clubs have now received a setback in his pursuit.

Musiala who is just 21 years old is already a main player for both Bayern and Germany. His current contract expires in 2026 and hence many clubs were closely monitoring his situation.

Christopher Freund who is the sporting director of Bayern Munich recently spoke about Musiala. He said that they want to extend the contract. Freund added that they want Musiala to stay with Bayern for a long time. He told that the aim for Musiala will be to shape an era.

Later, Freund said that hopefully the talks have a positive end but there is no time pressure. He is very impressed with Musiala and said that Jamal is a world class player. Plus, Freund added that fans go to that stadium to see Musiala.

How good is Jamal Musiala

Musiala is a key player for both his club and country. He was Chelsea academy player but later joined Bayern. Musiala was able to play for either Nigeria, England or Germany.

He opted to play for Germany and has played 36 matches till now. Musiala is only 21 years old and has scored 6 goals along with providing 7 assists for Germany. He was the best German player in Euro 2024.

As per Transfermarkt, the current market value of Jamal Musiala is €130 million. He is considered as a future Ballon D’or winner by many. Musiala has played for Bayern 166 times. He has scored 44 goals along with 26 assists in those 166 matches.
