4 Premier League clubs will be competing in the new-format UEFA Champions League. Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Man City will be a part of the Europe’s most prestigious competition. In recent years, the English clubs have managed to perform well. In fact, they won 3 out of the previous 6 UCL titles. But, last season, it was not an easy outing for any of them. None of the PL teams were able to make it into the semi-finals of the competition. Bayern and Real Madrid beat Arsenal and Man City respectively in the final 8 round. A Premier League team will actually be winning the UEFA Champions League. It calculates that Man City will win their second ever UCL title. And by beating Real Madrid. So, it seems like a revenge could be on the hands for Pep’s team. Meanwhile, the computer’s results show that Arsenal will go out of the final 8 once again. In fact, Liverpool will be the ones beating them. As per Aston Villa, they could be finishing on 7th place in the league phase of the tournament. All in all, it could be a very great season for the English clubs in Europe. As per Piers Morgan, Arsenal could go all the way in the UCL.

UCL will begin after the international break finishes. The first game will of the league phase will be played on September 17. Aston Villa will be playing away to Young Boys. Meanwhile, the Reds will have a tough game as AC Milan will play host to them. Could-be champions Man City will face Inter at home. And, Arsenal will be travelling to play the UEL winners, Atalanta. So, the Premier League teams have all been handed a pretty interesting game in the match day 1 of the UEFA Champions League. It will be interesting to see whether the calculations of the supercomputer stand correct. The Citizens will be keen to bring another UCL trophy home.
