Premier League is very likely to be the next destination for the €60 million rated star. The star is on the verge of leaving his current club in January. All of the ‘Big 6’ English clubs are showing interest in the player.
The player in question here is Dani Olmo. Barcelona signed Olmo in summer for £47 million from Leipzig. The 26 year old was in top form in Euro 2024 which made the Spanish giants to sign him.
However, Barca are finding it hard to keep a hold on Olmo after just 6 months. They are yet to register him for the second half of the season due to strict wage rules. This will result in Olmo leaving the club for free in summer.
Premier League very likely the next destination for Dani Olmo
As of now, Premier League is very likely considered as the next destination for Olmo. The 26 year old is looked upon by all of the ‘big 6’ English clubs. Earlier, it was also reported that the player’s agent is in England to discuss about his future.
Firstly, Olmo was being linked with both Manchester clubs. Both of the Manchester clubs are having a hard time right now with both very likely to make moves in January window to improve their squad.
Now, Mundo Deportivo have reported that Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have all joined the race. Hence, this has increased the probability of Olmo ending up in Premier League if Barca fail to find proper solution for him.
Chelsea do have a very good squad depth right now. But, many of their current stars are on the verge of exit due to lack of game time. Later, their London rivals Arsenal are in desperate need to sign attacking players due to injury issues.
Liverpool do have a great squad and are doing really well too. But, they are keeping Mohamed Salah in mind who will be out of contract at the end of the season. Lastly, Spurs are also keen to improve their squad but attack is not their priority right now.
