PSG leading race to sign Napoli star; Chelsea & Liverpool also keen

PSG are leading the race to sign one highly rated Napoli star who have already set his transfer fee. Premier League clubs – Chelsea and Liverpool are also showing interest.

The star in question here is Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The 23 year old mainly plays as left winger but can also play as attacking midfielder and as striker. He joined Napoli in 2022 and helped them to win Serie A title in his first season itself.

Kvaratskhelia has been superb since moving Italy and so far played 107 games for Napoli. He has also became a regular member for Georgia national team and made 40 appearances for them.

Kvaratskhelia is now being linked with move away from Napoli. The Italian side are said to be open to sell him for the right price. They are demanding around €80 million for the 23 year old.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that PSG are in direct talks to sign the 23 year old. The French champions are offering 4 times more salary than what the player is currently earning at Napoli.

PSG are yet to find a proper replacement for Kylian Mbappe. In addition, Randal Kolo-Muani is also linked with exit. This will open up space and it can be easy to convince Georgian winger. However, the Ligue 1 giants are also joined by other top clubs.

Chelsea and Liverpool also showing interest to sign Kvaratskhelia

David Ornstein reported that Liverpool and Chelsea are also showing interst in the 23 year old. The Blues do have very vast attacking depth. Hence, they may be uncertain to sign him as they may also struggle with PSR if they spend this high.

Liverpool can make a move for Georgian winger as they make have opening soon. Chiesa who joined the club in summer is very quickly linked with exit. In addition, the Reda are planning to part ways with Darwin Nunez.
