According to a report by ABC de Sevilla, Real Betis have shown their interest in signing Watford midfielder Kwasi Sibo. The green-white army have scouted the Ghana midfielder after seeing impressive performance for UD Ibiza over the last two seasons.

Sibo is currently Watford’s property as the Premier League signed for free in 2019. However, he has till now not made his debut for Watford. The midfielder was mainly used a loaned item playing for two different clubs in the last couple of seasons. His first loan spell was from January 2019 to June 2019 playing for KF Skenderbeu. And his last two seasons loan spell was with UD Ibiza, following which Real Betis are targeting him.

While playing for Ibiza, Sibo appeared 36 times in which he scored 2 goals. However, don’t go through his goal stats as that’s not what he is famous for. The Ghana midfielder is famous for his strong presence in his midfield tackling with the opposition’s strong attacks. Following his form, Sibo helped UD Ibiza in securing promotion to the second division of La Liga this season.

The midfielder has currently returned back to England as his loan spell ended with the Spanish club. But Sibo’s stay in England may be of short time following the interest from Real Betis. The 23-year-old has been on the radar of the La Liga side and wants him for their midfield this season.

As per the report, Sibo is all set to sign a two-year deal with Real Betis in the coming days until some last-minute mishaps happen. The midfielder has already agreed on personal terms and waiting for a green signal from Watford. As soon as the signal arrives Sibo will fly to Spain for the medical and sign his contract.
