According to several reports, Real Madrid have offered a transfer deal to AS Roma regarding the signing of Luka Jovic this summer. Roma have lost Edin Dzeko to Inter Milan and are in need of a forward following which Madrid sees as an opportunity for business.

Luka Jovic joined Real Madrid back in 2019 after playing some successful season for Eintracht Frankfurt at Bundesliga. Jovic joined the La Liga giants with a high expectation of taking his career to some heights. However, the transfer plan of the 23-year-old didn’t play out as expected for both the player and the club.

Since joining Jovic has only been able to appear 32 times for the Spanish side while he scored only two times in those outings. After having frustrating outings at Madrid, Jovic was offered a half-season loan to his former club Eintracht Frankfurt last season. But that didn’t work either as the player was lacking confidence in front of the goal.

Following these frustrated full seasons, the Spanish giants have decided to permanently get rid of Jovic this summer. While the club has also found a potential buyer from Italy for the 23-year-old Serbian. As per reports, Real Madrid are considering offering Luka Jovic to AS Roma this summer.

Roma just sold their first-choice striker Edin Dzeko to Inter Milan, following which they need to find a replacement. And Madrid wants to grab that opportunity to load of Jovic this summer. However, it would not be easy to sell an out-form striker like Jovic, while Roma have set their eyes on signing Tammy Abraham. But Roma are facing competition from Arsenal regarding Abraham. Following this Madrid might need to do hard negotiation to load off Jovic at Roma this summer.
