Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale to miss out on El Clasico fixture


Real Madrid will be out of Gareth Bale option in this season’s first El Clasico fixture, as the Welshman is out with a hamstring injury. Bale was fit until the last session of practice before facing Celta Vigo on 13th September. The forward was seen with a bandage on his right leg as he boarded the bus after the training session ended.

However, at that moment it was not known that if it was a serious injury. But with Bale’s name missing from Real Madrid’s starting eleven and substitute bench against Celta Vigo, the concerns grown more. While Madrid thrashed Celta Vigo with a 5-2 scoreline despite missing their first-choice right-winger.

As the match ended and Madrid fans were happy, they were struck with bad news about Gareth Bale’s injury. Real Madrid confirmed that Bale has suffered a hamstring injury in his right leg and will be out of the team for recovering. However, Madrid have not given any specific month for Bale’s return following which it seems a long-term injury.

Following Gareth Bale’s hamstring injury it can be said that he will be missing this season’s first El Clasico fixture. Real Madrid will be playing against Barcelona on 24th October and Bale would have been an important player for Los Blancos on the pitch. Upon his return from loan from Tottenham Hotspur, Bale showed some positive energy for Real Madrid. While Carlo Ancelotti looked forward to giving more game time and see him back in his old form.

However, Bale’s injury-prone career doesn’t seem to leave any time soon, following which he will miss more matches. Other than not playing for Real Madrid, Bale will also be not available for his national side. While the Wales side needed their star in some important world cup qualifying fixtures against the Czech Republic and Belgium.
