Chelsea are keen to sign one young Premier League star this summer. The player is very highly rated and wanted by multiple clubs across whole Europe. Recently, Real Madrid had scouts placed on him this weekend.

The star in question here is Dean Huijsen of Bournemouth. He is 20 years old and joined the Cherries last summer. Ever since moving to England, Huijsen has been superb in both defence and attack. He is wanted by multiple clubs and is surely going to leave Bournemouth.

Huijsen has a £50 million release clause that will activate this summer. Chelsea are willing to trigger it and make the 20 year old their new superstar. But, the Blues face a very heavy competition from whole Europe. As of now, Madrid’d interest in Huijsen is confirmed.

According to TBR Football, Real Madrid had scouts on Dean Huijsen in the recent game between Bournemouth and Arsenal. The 20 year old scored to help his club secure a massive win over Gunners. He has surely impressed the scouts with his steller performance.

The report adds that Madrid were also scouting Milos Kerkez. He is 21 years old and plays as left-back. Kerkez has been one of the best full-backs in Premier League this season. He has scored 2 goals and picked 5 assists.

Madrid are very strong when it comes to convincing players. Hence, Chelsea will view this as a massive blow in the pursuit. The Blues are desperate to land Huijsen this summer. He fits their bill and has also proved himself in Premier League. The West London club will surely not give up without a fight.

Chelsea do have many other options in the market. But, they are keen to focus on young players who will be long-term investments. In that case, Huijsen is the surely one of the best young defenders in the world right now.
