Real Madrid have concrete interest to land Arsenal star

Real Madrid have concrete interest to land one Arsenal star this summer. They could break the records for the transfer signing as the questioned star is considered untouchable by Gunners.

Los Blancos are having a tough season due to various reasons. One of the key issue has been defence throughout the season. They have lacked a spark in backline due to constant injuries.

Real Madrid are very likely to transform their backline this year. They are willing to sign left-back, right-back and centre back. For left-back they are planning to sign Alphonso Davis whereas for right-back they are keen to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold.

This leaves centre-back with the Los Blancos targetting a young defender. They will need to replace Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba who are past 30’s now. They have already one defender in sight who is considered as one of the best in the world right now.

Real Madrid keen to sign William Saliba in summer

According to Foot Mercato, Los Blancos are keen to land Saliba this summer. They have been monitoring the 23 year old since a very long time. They are now set to speed up their transfer process.

Saliba is main man at the defence in the current Arsenal squad. His departure will affect Gunners to a vast extent. The North London club have no intention to sell him but may feel powerless if the 23 year old forces a move.

Arsenal will demand a hefty amount of money and it is expected that it will break the record of most expensive defensive signing ever. Real Madrid are in pole position to agree a big money move since they have been quiet since many years.

Madrid can sign Arnold and Davis on free transfer which means they can spend freely on centre-back. They also have many French players at the club who can convince Saliba to join them.
