Madrid

According to sources who talked to 90min, a deal between Real Madrid and Palmeiras over coveted youth Endrick is practically finalized. The 16-year-old is believed to be one of the finest talents to ever come out of Brazil. Since he was a little child, Real has been pursuing him. According to a 90min article from last month, Palmeiras was hoping to finalize an agreement to sell Endrick before the end of the year.

Sources have told 90min time and time again that Real was the clear favorite to sign Endrick, with Juni Calafat, the top scout for the Spanish club, arranging the deal after getting to know the player and his family.

Although the club considers Endrick to be among the greatest of all of them, Calafat also had a considerable influence on the recruitment of players like Federico Valverde, Rodrygo, and Vinicius Junior in recent years.

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have both fiercely chased Endrick, but Real Madrid has always been confident that the midfielder wants to move to Madrid, and they believe a deal is now near.

What about Chelsea and PSG?

Real is currently close to a deal that would see them pay €60 million for the player, but they would also be required to pay additional taxes levied on Brazilian players who go to Spain. Real has also agreed to further add-ons and performance-based bonuses.

However, FIFA regulations prohibit international transfers of players under the age of 18, therefore Endrick won’t be allowed to do so until 2024.
