- Arsenal are interested to sign Real Madrid gem Arda Guler
- Madrid are now ready to accept the offer
- Guler is also being viewed by three other clubs except Arsenal
Arda Guler joined Real Madrid last year but was quickly injured after the move. This kept him on bench for a very long time. The Turkish attacker then made an impressive return in the second half of last season.
Guler played 12 games last season and scored 6 goals. He has been able to stay fit but is no getting enough chances this season. He has only played 304 minutes across 12 games.
Arsenal are interested to sign Guler on loan. They think that this is in the best interest of both clubs along with players. Earlier it was reported that Madrid have no intention to send Guler away. But now, there seems to be change in Madrid’s plans.
Real Madrid now prepared to allow Guler to join Arsenal on loan
As per CaughtOffside, Madrid are now ready to let Guler leave on loan. They feel like this will be very good for the development of Turkish international. Along with Gunners, three other clubs are in queue to achieve the services of 19 year old attacker.
Gunners will view this situation as a perfect opportunity to repeat Martin Odegaard deal. They did signed Odegaard on loan initially from Madrid. The Norway international was also facing the similar situation as Guler whilst at Madrid.
Odegaard then developed into world class star at Arsenal and is now their club captain. Gunners will hope to repeat the same and eventually make Guler their permanent star in future.
AC Milan, Juventus and Aston Villa are the other three clubs keen to sign the Turkish attacker. Milan too have history with signing Madrid player on loan. They had Brahim Diaz on loan from Madrid who played 124 matches for them.
Despite interest from top clubs, Guler will choose a club which will guarantee him regular playing time. As of now, he has best chance to achieve it at Aston Villa. Unai Emery will love to have Guler in his side to dominate the rest of the season.
