Renato Sanches posted an Instagram story on Wednesday that stirred transfer rumors in the market. Sven Botman liking the story has him in the news as well.
Renato Sanches uploaded a picture on Instagram with the caption “Choose what’s good for your soul, not your ego” amid persistent rumors that PSG is now in the lead to recruit Sanches and a North London club is actively pursuing Sven Botman.
AC Milan showing interest in Sanches
The current Scudetto holders, AC Milan contacted the midfielder’s agent Jorge Mendes if the player is looking for a move to Italy. The most recent Italian rumors indicate that PSG has made a bigger offer, placing about €30 million for the Portuguese international in comparison to Milan’s first offer of €18 million to capture the former Bayern Munich sensation.
AC Milan is trying to sign Sanches from Lille as a replacement for Frank Kessie. The Ivorian’s chances of joining Barcelona are growing with time so Milan turned to Renato Sanches. Sanches and the Rossoneri have already reached a personal agreement, and his most recent Instagram post brings encouragement to the team’s supporters.
Sven Botman’s future
The Dutch center-back is hoping for a move away from the French League sooner or later. His intentions to join the Premier League have been fueled by Newcastle United who is reportedly interested in him. However, AC Milan gate-crashed Newcastle’s wish to sign Botman by bidding £30 million on him.
The Magpies are trying so hard to land a center-back for the 2022-23 Premier League season. Attempts to snatch Nayef Aguerd from West Ham failed as the Morrocan wasn’t interested in playing for Toon. As a result, pressure mounted on the North-East London side to push for Botman. The Dutchman could probably see himself playing in England for the 2022-23 Premier League season.
