Renedy Singh and Bembem Devi joins Zinc Football advisory

Former India footballers Renedy Singh and Oinam Bembem Devi have become advisory members of Zinc Football. They will work for its grassroots development program.

What is Zinc football Advisory?

Zinc Football is an initiative aimed at ushering in a footballing revolution in Rajasthan.

It is a one-of-a-kind initiative in the country. Zinc Football emphasizes promoting grassroots football in India by providing coaching to over 350 passionate children. It is provided by highly skilled football trainers at 12 community football centers in Rajasthan. The heart of this initiative is a residential academy at Zawar, near Udaipur. With world-class facilities, it’s the country’s first-ever ‘technology-hinged football training’. The academy is currently training its first batch of 40 children.

The Zinc Football Advisory Board, consisting of the three experts at its core, will provide guidance and counsel for its betterment Along with providing key inputs to the leadership team, according to a release.

The trio of Renedy Singh, Shaji Prabhakaran and Oinam Bembem Devi has been inducted in the Zinc Football Advisory Board.

The Advisory Board will be co-chaired by Arun Misra, Annanya Agarwal, President, and Vedanta Football.
