Ronaldo expected to reconcile with Keylor Navas as transfer talk rises

Cristiano Ronaldo and Keylor Navas are set to reunite as teammates. AL-Nassr has been trying to seal a deal for the PSG keeper as per recent reports.

The 36-year-old former Real Madrid goalkeeper plays for Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain. But he is clearly not the first-choice goalkeeper as the French team prefers Gianluigi Donnarumma. Similarly, Navas’ contract is coming to an end in the summer, and he will be a free agent this summer.

Al-Nassr are exploring the possibility of placing a deal for Keylor Navas this week only. The Saudi-Arabian club are in urgent need of a goalkeeper. Their goalkeeper David Ospina an ex-Arsenal and Napoli goalkeeper, suffered an elbow injury that may require surgery. Navas will be a massive boost to their squad.

Will Keylor Navas play for Al-Nassr?

During PSG’s upcoming match against Al-Nassr featuring Ronaldo, Navas is set to hold talks with Al-Nassr about his future.

Al-Nassr is also looking for other options besides Navas even though the Ivory Coast international is Rudy Garcia’s top priority. Ronaldo’s presence in the squad will surely keep bringing in even more renowned players to the Asian country.

Despite Navas still being under contract in Paris, Al-Nassr hopes to acquire him as a free agent. But PSG are demanding some kind of compensation, which may complicate matters when official transfer negotiations commence.
