Serial Premier League winner to make his way back to England

It is always a pleasure to see a player returning to a league where he was once a superstar. Premier League fans have witnessed some amazing returns of footballing legends over the years. The latest news suggest that a player who won back to back league titles may return to England next year. The player is Leroy Sane who is looked upon by both Arsenal and Chelsea.

Leroy Sane is only 28 years old and has already won some very prestigious titles. But, currently he is not being able to get in the starting eleven for Bayern Munich. He has only played 4 matches across all competitions this season and has not yet started any match yet.

Sane will be out of contract next summer and the reports say that the talks for contract extension have stalled. Bayern are only willing to offer new contract if Sane accepts pay cut. As of now, foreign clubs will be able to hold talks with Sane in January and sign him as a free agent next summer.

According to Fichajes, Arsenal and Chelsea are both interested to achieve the services of German international. Newcastle United are also interested to sign Sane but they may fall short if they don’r manage to secure Champions League football.

Gunners want to sign a right winger in an attempt to provide Bukayo Saka with an quality backup. They have still not decided to wheter hand Sterling a permanent contract or not. On the other hand, The Blues have a lot of options but they will be seen selling some of them next year.

Sane has always been a serial winner. He won back to back Premier League titles with Man City before joining Bayern. Sane has 39 goals and 43 assists in 135 matches for City.

After joining Bayern, Sane won back to back three Bundesliga titles. He has 49 goals and 53 assists for Bayern in 179 matches. Given his age, Sane still has a lot of football left in him and signing him on free transfer seems like a very good deal for any club in Europe.
