Man City is used to seeing players come and go during summer transfer windows and this year is no different.
Take the previous summer transfer period only. The fans watched the likes of Ilkay Gundogan, Cole Palmer, Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte depart. And at the same time witnessed the arrival of Mateo Kovacic, Jeremy Doku, Josko Gvardiol, and Matheus Nunes in the Etihad Stadium.
Now having secured their four consecutive Premier League title, the Blues are again expecting changes. Many players are reported moving in and out of the Pep Guardiola-led side.

Regardless, a Sports pundit and former player believes that there is more to the transfer news than it’s coming out. The talkSPORT presenter kept some solid points concerning Man City.
“He must have something up his sleeves” – Darren Bent on potential Ederson exit
As per reports, Goalkeeper Ederson has been in talks of moving to the Saudi league for the past month now, and according to the reports, the Blues are soon going to receive an offer for the Brazillian.
Concerning this, talkSPORT presenter and former footballer Darren Bent said this on YouTube:
He said: “Do you know what? Probably to the outside world, and that’s me and you included, to us, we will be like wow. I can’t believe they let Ederson go, one of the best goalkeepers in Premier League history, but you know what Pep’s like.
“He gets to a situation where we all think he has let a player go too early and he’s like see I told you it was about the next.
“So, if Pep is allowing Ederson to go, he must have something up his sleeves where he knows someone’s either coming in or it’s [Stefan] Ortega’s time.
“So, for me, I still think he is one of the best goalkeepers out there. But Pep is a master of letting players go at the right time. And if he feels Ederson’s time is up at Manchester City or he can find someone better now, then I am guessing you have got to respect that decision now because he has got it right so many times.”
Man City needs to find a replacement
If Enderson really leaves the side, then City needs to have the replacement ready.
As reported by journalist Cesar Luis Merlo last month, Saudi Pro League side Al Nasser offered a two-year contract to Ederson worth €60m.
Ederson has a reputation that will not be easy to replace. The Brazilian keeper was praised by Danny Murphy earlier this year for being the best. He was Pep’s first-choice keeper making 43 appearances for the Blues in last season alone. So if he were to leave, the City would definitely need to bring in a suitable replacement.
Another Man City player eyeing transfer out of Etihad
Man City star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne will be starting his last year at the Etihad according to the contract.
Kevin De Bruyne the star midfielder of the Man City side has just one more year remaining on his deal. The attacking playmaker will then be free to move away from the City if he chooses to.

As per journalist Rudy Galetti, De Bruyne has verbally agreed to a move to the Saudi League Pro club Al Ittihad. It is a possibility that the City has agreed for the midfielder to leave this summer given a fee. However, it is unclear whether the arrangement is based on him joining in 2025 or not.
