Chelsea took on FC Noah last night in the Conference League fixture. They were able to run riot and record the biggest even win in this competition. Enzo Fernandez who has been linked with exit from Chelsea displayed his highest quality. It only took 21 minutes for him to do so and receive all around praise.
Chelsea brought the Argentine for £107 million in January 2023. But Fernandez has not been able to leave upto the mark since moving to West London. Recently, he lost his place from starting lineup as Maresca has now started using Romeo Lavia in his place.
Due to not getting enough gametime Fernandez is said to take an exit door very soon. He has been looked upon by lot of top clubs and Real Madrid are said to be front runners in his chase as of now.
Despite not getting enough gametime in Premier League, Maresca started Fernandez in conference league. He also gave the captain’s armband to Fernandez and the Argentine was able to live up the expectations. He only played a single half but left the pitch with some superb stats.

Enzo was able to record three assists in just 21 minutes. His first came in 12th minute and within the next 9 minutes, he was able to add two more to his tally. This resulted in him being the highest rated player despite playing for just 45 minutes.

Should Chelsea sell Enzo Fernandez?
There is no doubt that Enzo has struggled since joining Chelsea. But he is still very young and there are high chances of him finding his top form back. But the issue is other midfielders who are currently playing better than Fernandez are also very young.
Caicedo is 23 whereas Lavia is only 20 and hence the Blues have to take a hard decision soon. Enzo is too good to sit on bench and hence he may force his way out of club. But, it will also depend on what Chelsea think and how much they demand as they have big say in the player’s future.
