Neeraj Kholiya, a football enthusiast launched Techtro Swades United digitally in August 2020. Meanwhile, it became the first-ever professional football club from Himachal Pradesh. In the 2021-22 season, Techtro Swades United won the Himachal Football League for the first time, defeating Himachal FC 3-1 in the final. They also qualified for the 2022-23 season of I-League 2nd Division.
