The much-awaited reunion about to happen? Duckens joining Kerala Blasters.

Duckens Nazon about to join Kerala Blasters

A piece of news has surfaced of Haitian Striker Duckens Nazon joining the Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters FC this season. Kerala Blasters TV has confirmed this news, and they are a reliable source when it comes to the news related to the Blasters.

Kerala Blasters have been hyperactive this season in terms of signing and releasing players. So, if they are going for another catch then that shouldn’t be a matter of surprise.

Duckens who has already played for the Blasters in 2016, might be a good addition to the “new age” Kerala Blasters team. As he is already familiar with the working environment of Kerala Blasters.

The 27-year-old Haitian have played for the Blasters already in 2016 and has scored 2 goals in 7 matches. Which is not too bad and can be considered as a decent short run. So, there are possibilities of him playing for the Blasters again. Keeping the fact in mind that Kerala Blasters TV have confirmed that, they also broke the news of Kosta and Kone joining.

Kerala Blasters are currently on a roll and they are highly motivated to build a new team from the scratch. They have released 10 players so far which is a clear indication that the board wants to make a big change. And the work is already under process.

Nazons history so far

Nazon joined his first professional team Lorients reserve team in 2013, later that year he joined the 4th tier side, US Roye. After that, he joined Olympique Saint-Quintin in 2014 where he played 13 matches and scored 10 goals. Then he joined Laval in 2015 and played 14 matches for them and managed to score only 3 goals.

After these brief stints, he made his move to India in 2016 and joined Kerala Blasters where he appeared in 7 matches and scored 2 goals. 3 months later he joined the Wolverhampton Wanderers U-23 team and in August 2017. He went out on loan to play for League Two side Coventry City until January 2018. Then he was again loaned out to play for Oldham Athletic. After which he was signed by St Mirren on a 3-year-deal. Where he played 28 matches and has scored 6 goals.

So after all this, it would fascinating to see if he is going to join his former club the Blasters again. And if yes, then for how many years.
