Tolisso’s future hinges on Juventus and Locatelli deal

The future of Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso seems to depend on Juventus. The Italians are looking at Tolisso as an alternative in case their pursuit of Manuel Locatelli fails.

Juventus have been negotiating with Sassuolo for signing Locatelli. However, both clubs are not yet able to finalise the deal with Sassuolo’s demands being too high for Juve. This is a reason why Juventus has started talks with Tolisso.

The past two seasons for Tolisso has been underwhelming as he was not a regular for Bayern Munich. The German champions are looking to sell their midfielder this summer as his contract is set to end in 2022.

FORGOTTEN TOLISSO AN ALTERNATIVE FOR JUVENTUS

Juventus were previously interested in the French midfielder. But their interest soon shifted from Tolisso to Locatelli. The club has been in constant talks with Sassuolo this summer and keeping the midfielder their main target.

Sassuolo on the other hand are not ready to part ways with their Italian midfielder. Hence they have raised their asking price, which Juventus finds difficult to meet. Talks are still continuing, but Sassuolo are adamant about the price.

For Tolisso, finding gametime with Bayern Munich has been difficult. After joining the Bundesliga champions in 2017 the midfielder has played only 96 times for them. Injuries also didn’t help the 26-year-old. Now, with more competition in the Bayern midfield, Tolisso is looking to make his move.

With the contract of the French midfielder only till 2022, Bayern are concerned with the situation. The club is already facing difficulty in renewing the contracts of many of its players. If they are not able to sell Tolisso this summer, there is a chance that he could move to another club for free.
