Torino gives ultimatum to Belotti

Belotti has played a pivotal part for Torino. Ever since his move to The Bulls, Belotti has been their major goalscorer. He has played 228 times for his club in all competitions. During this time he has scored 105 times for them. However, the player has grown ever so frustrated with his clubs’ performance.

Torino were fortunate to avoid relegation in the last two seasons. Belotti is one of the main players for the Itlay national team. At 27, the player wants to compete with the best and fight for titles. His ambition is the reason why the player has not renewed his contract with the Serie A side.

Belotti has attracted interest from multiple clubs. The most notable admirers are AS Roma. Jose Mourinho is interested to bring in the Italian to replace Edin Dzeko in his squad and bring much-needed bite upfront. Belotti is a strong centre-forward who is good aerially. He has regularly contributed more than 10 goals in the league since joining Torino and could improve his tally on a better side.

However, Torino are not ready to let go of their player very easily. Reports suggest that the club is looking for a fee of close to €35 million for the 27-year-old striker. But with just one year left on his contract, Torino risks losing their captain for a free transfer. Unless Belotti decides to sign a new contract, expect the Italian to make a big move this summer.
