Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 Leeds United Match Analysis:

The game started with an entertaining aaproach as both teams tried to create opportunities. But neither team created big chances in the first 25 minutes.

Leeds dominated the position but they couldn’t trouble Hugo Lloris. Patrick Bamford had few half chances but he could not convert any of those.

Spurs opened their account from a stupid foul from Leeds left-back Ezgjan Alioski in the box and referee David Coote gave the penalty. Harry Kane made no mistake to score from the twelve yards.

Just before the break Son Heung-Min doubled the lead for Spurs a great delivery from Kane. The famous duo combined yet again for Tottenham.

Straightway after the break, Alderweireld added the third goal for Tottenham from a corner and nailed on to the coffin of Leeds United.

As the game grew old Leeds become very sloppy. They put pressure on Tottenham at the back end of the match but couldn’t break the Tottenham defence.

On the 92nd minute Spurs defender, Matt Doherty conceded red card which can be a bad thing in a very good victory.

Notable Performances:

Harry Kane(CF) – (8/10)(Tottenham Hotspur): Took the penalty excellently and gave a great pass for Son for the 2nd goal.

Son Heung-Min(LW) – (7.5/10)(Tottenham Hotspur): Took the chance calmly and finishing was excellent. Worked hard defensively as well.

Patrick Bamford(CF) – (5/10)(Leeds United): He wasn’t at his game tonight. He may be left his goal-scoring boots in the dressing room. Missed few chances and also he didn’t look threatening.
