On 10th June, Argentina secured a narrow 1-0 victory in the warm-up match against Ecuador. Tottenham Hotspur defender, Cristian Romero, was one of the standout performers who received great appreciation after showcasing his exceptional form. Together with Romero, Manchester United defender, Lisandro Martinez put on a solid defensive display. The World Cup hero, Emiliano Martinez held the fort. There are high hopes for Cristian Romero at Tottenham next season, as he looks to shine in the Copa America. He has been backed to up his game at Spurs under the current manager, Ange Postecoglou. He was very inconsistent last year . Especially during the final third of the season, Tottenham Hotspur will now be competing in the Europa League this season, having missed out on 4th place to Aston Villa. Cristian Romero currently in great form. The team is counting on him to deliver the same sort of performances in the league and cup matches.
