Transfer: Napoli isn’t interested in Cristiano Ronaldo

Napoli has officially confirmed they won’t even try & sign Ronaldo. The Italians claim they won’t be able to afford the Portuguese’s weekly wages.

Ronaldo has told his agent, Jorge Mendes to consider every bid that comes in. He will decide if it’s worth it or not. Be it Napoli, PSG, or Bayern Munich, the 37-year-old is open to all options. Because of the lack of ambition in Manchester United, the player wants to leave immediately.

What does Napoli feel?

Naples has seen the best of football talent on their pitch. Edinson Cavani, Kalidou Koulibaly, Lorenzo Insinge, and the legendary Diego Maradona have played for them.

However, Ronaldo won’t be on that list because the club doesn’t think it would be a good move. To sign a player who considers himself above the badge is nothing but a threat. The Portuguese international would demand heavy wages which the Italians wouldn’t find.

Ronaldo’s take on transfers

With Napoli struggling to find a spot in the competition, there’s no way Ronaldo will join the Italian club. He’s clinched the UCL trophy 5 times and will not hesitate to clinch the 6th.

The Gli Azzurri have finished their Serie A campaign in the 5th position losing the Champions League spot to Juventus by one point. Ronaldo’s main intention of leaving Manchester United is so that he can compete in the Champions League.

Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United

The 5-time Ballon D’Or winner scored 18 goals for Manchester United in the English League alone. He’s assisted on three occasions but the club failed to secure a spot in the top 4. Fun fact, Ronaldo has never played in the Europa League in his 20 years career.

He will not tarnish his pride by not playing in the Champions League even once. Ronaldo isn’t satisfied with the team’s transfer efforts & above all doesn’t trust the process. As a result, he asked the management to look for a transfer for the 2022-23 season. The club decided to let him go if they find a suitable replacement.
