Transfer rumours after a tough season by Manchester United

Paul Pogba

With big stars in the team, fans have expected a better performance by Manchester United this season. Manchester United is currently in seventh place in the Premier League table with 51 points after 30 rounds, 22 points behind the leader and rival Manchester City. A top 3 position is pretty much out of the question with only seven matches to go, and according to many of the Indian betting sites found here, the odds for upcoming matches are not in their favour.

With the Champions League dream shattered by Atlético Madrid a few weeks ago, the transfer rumours are now hotter than ever. Christiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba have long been rumoured to leave the club, but will they?

Ronaldo’s decision – stays in Manchester United

After a long period of rumours that Cristiano Ronaldo is considering leaving Manchester United, new information has emerged that he is staying.

It has not been an easy season for Cristiano Ronaldo, who returned to Manchester United last summer after twelve years at Real Madrid and Juventus. The Portuguese may have scored 18 goals and three assists in 33 games, but United is knocked out of the Champions League while it looks challenging to take a top 4 finish in the Premier League this spring. The fall from grace has left Ronaldo’s future at the club in doubt, while his relationship with interim coach Ralf Rangnick has only worsened.

Now comes word that Ronaldo, despite the setbacks, has decided to stay at Old Trafford next season. According to journalist Manu Sainz of Diario AS, who has a good relationship with Ronaldo, he supposedly decided when United’s club management admitted that the hiring of Rangnick was wrong.

Paul Pogba will leave according to his Trainer

The turmoil surrounding Paul Pogba and whether he stays in Manchester United next season looks to be over. At least if you believe the player’s personal trainer.

It has been a turbulent season for Paul Pogba, 28, as he sits on an expiring contract with Manchester United while being linked to clubs like Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. The player was previously said to announce his decision in May, but Pogba’s trainer, Coach Meddy, spoke out and revealed his decision in an interview with Calciomercato.

– Pogba will no longer be a Manchester United player after June. It’s the right time for him to look elsewhere. United might also want to renew the squad, and the best thing is to go their separate ways.

Furthermore, Meddy says that Pogba wants to play to win the biggest trophies.

– It’s time for a change, and for both Pogba and Manchester United, it’s time for new challenges, emotions and environments. It’s time to try something different, and maybe they will both be happy with the decision.

Meddy concludes by saying that Pogba has enjoyed the last few months at Old Trafford.

I think he is just enjoying it as they have a good team, especially after Cristiano Ronaldo decided to return to the club. The problem, though, is that the results are not coming. A top player doesn’t want to waste time playing in smaller tournaments; he wants to be motivated and play for the biggest trophies.

Is Robert Lewandowski going to Manchester United?

This summer, Robert Lewandowski will have only one year left on his contract with Bayern Munich. Now the Pole is said to have several offers to consider, and one of them is from Manchester United.

Whether Robert Lewandowski will continue to play for Bayern Munich next season is a topic of discussion that has been going on for the past few months. Earlier this week, the striker was linked to Atlético Madrid, but Manchester United is also rumoured to be interested.

According to 90min, Lewandowski is said to be one of the names on the club’s wish list for next season. Mainly to replace Edinson Cavani, who is most likely to leave Old Trafford after the season.

Lewandowski has this season accounted for 39 goals and three assists in 34 games.
