The star in question here is Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap. He joined Ipswich this summer and so far has impressed everyone. The 21 year old has scored 6 goals in Premier League so far.

Delap has signed contract with Ipswich this summer running until 2029. His current club are very happy with him and want to hold him until the end of season. They will demand a hefty fee in summer due to the player’s age, quality and long running contract.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all keen to sign Delap

According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea, Liverpool and United are all showing interest to sign Delap. All of these clubs are keen to improve their final third with the Red Devils in particular.

Delap has been linked with Chelsea since a long time. The Blues do have a quality squad but still want to sign another striker. In addition, Nkunku who is being used as backup striker is very likely to move away from Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool too have a very good squad. They are doing extremely well and sitting on top of table in both Premier League and Champions League. But, the Reds can add another striker as an upgrade on under performing Darwin Nunez.

Lastly, Man United are the club who are in desperate need to sign attackers. Delap has the best chance to play regularly at United as they are struggling in final third. Both of their current strikers – Zirkzee and Hojlund have not been able to live up the expectations.

Ipswich are currently on 19th position in league and can get relegated. Delap will want to stay in Premier League and hence will be open to move to top club. As of now, he will look to add to his tally of goals and assists.
